The birthday that keeps on going... and going... and going...

We finally had my LAST birthday celebration over the weekend. Joe and I went into the city to see Jersey Boys on Saturday and had a really fun time. I'm getting to the point that sitting for long periods of time isn't too comfortable, but we managed to really enjoy the show, despite my fidgeting and bathroom-going ;) Feel free to compliment Joe on his patience, as he gets annoyed by my normal amount of fidgeting sometimes... so he's taking one for the team here!

On Sunday, Joe worked on a number of house and baby projects (i.e., sorting through stuff in the garage, putting together the Pack 'N' Play, and shopping at Costco), while I headed out to Rochelle for our annual cookie bake day. Although we didn't bake like usual, we still exchanged cookies and had a fun time with everyone. Here are a couple of cute pix from the day. Notice how much MaKayla looks like Cindy Lou Who! She was a very busy lady all day, building a little fort and playing with all her My Little Ponies, and some of Caden's old toys.

Noah, Dylan, and Cade were also around for the day, which was lots of fun. Dylan and Noah are pretty close in age, but it's really cool to see what a difference just a few months can make. Noah has started to notice Dylan, but Dylan is completely oblivious. I can't wait until they start playing together - hopefully nicely ;) Notice Dylan's cute little puppy blanket. It has become a fast favorite and he cuddles with it when he's sleeping. Afterwards, I headed over to my dad and Betty's for a visit, too. It was a fun day!

Finally, here's me at 35 weeks. My baby belly feels pretty gigantic to me these days, and you can see me in my Santa Claus glory in this picture. Please don't try to make me wear a Santa hat!

You rock the belly - Santa is jealous. He'll always have his bowl full of jelly but no lovely child to show for his stomach.
