We have had a very busy last week or so, with lots and lots of visitors! Last Friday, we went to visit the Fornero family, so we could meet baby Dave. Christie, Cort, Alexis, and Dave are doing well and they seem to be adjusting to having a new baby in the house. Baby Dave is such a cutie! Congratulations, Christie and Cort!!
From Saturday through Tuesday, Ayisha, Adam, and Lilla came to visit us from North Carolina. We hadn't seen them in almost 1 1/2 years, so it was great to catch up! Lilla has gotten so big since we last saw her and she's walking around and talking up a storm. She's such a nice little girl! They're expecting their next little one in June, so little boy Hohl will be joining the family soon! We can't wait to meet him - hopefully sooner, rather than later!!
During our visit, we went to a park, played lots of Wii sports, ate
yummy Indian food, and played lots of games that involved dancing and quacking like a duck. It was great! Now if only we could convince them to move to Chicagoland and be our neighbors! It was so nice to have our friends meet little Julia. She seemed to have lots of fun with Lilla and she liked hanging out with Ayisha and Adam. It was great to have all of their help with her, too! Thanks for making the trek, Marawi Hohls!
