Fall Fun

We've had a fun fall so far. A few weeks ago, we celebrated Joe's 32nd birthday with a party that was part BBQ, part bon fire. We had about 20 people or so over to celebrate with us, including lots of food, nice cool weather, and a great fire. It was a great celebration. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the festivities, as we were busy with food and I was pretty spent after all of the prep. Instead, here's a picture of Joe and Jules during an outdoor camping "trip" they took in our backyard in September. They stayed out all night!

At the very beginning of October, we traveled to Indiana to meet up with Ayisha, Adam, Lilla, and Isaac. We stayed in a little town just outside of Indianapolis, called Carmel, and had a fun visit. We swam, watched movies, and ate at an amazing deli that I totally wish was down the street from our house. The kids had a super fun time together - especially Julia and Lilla - who were like long lost friends. They had a great time dancing and playing. Here are few fun pictures from our trip!
