We had a great Halloween this year! Gru and the minions (from the movie
Despicable Me) did an excellent job of dressing up and trick-or-treating.
A few days before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins, family style. Ironically, Joe was the only one who wasn't excited about carving and he ended up doing most of the work! Owen was mildly interested in the pumpkin goo, but managed not to dig in too much. He mostly sat back and enjoyed the view.

On Halloween day, we got everybody dressed up to go to school/ daycare. Then, Joe and I got to head to Julia's school for Trunk-or-Treat. Unfortunately, the rain put a bit of a damper on the plan, but we moved everything inside and decorated one of the classrooms so the kids could parade around and pick up candy. It was so fun!
Later that night, the rain let up enough for us to go visit some neighbors and Miss Sue, from Julia's old school. It was a fun night of trick-or-treating!
