Vacation in Wisconsin

In July, we headed up to Wisconsin to enjoy an extended July 4th holiday. It was great to have a week off, plus a few extra days!

We spent some time with DeAnna, Andy, and their kids, along with my Mom and Randy. It was fun to enjoy the nice weather, spend time with everyone, and celebrate the holiday! We did lots of biking, swimming, fishing, and cooking (yum!), along with relaxing by the fire. We also went to the Independence Day parade and fireworks. It was great. Thanks for letting us stay at your house, Nana and Papa!

Owen caught his first fish!

They threw lots of candy, too!

It seemed to take forever for the fireworks to start, but they were awesome

Jules and Nana made a fairy garden

We celebrated my cousin, Brett, and his 40th birthday with a Star Wars themed birthday

Nothing says party like a Darth Vader piƱata!
All-in-all, it was a fun and relaxing trip after a chaotic June. What a nice break!
