This summer, we again joined the
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at the
Green Earth Institute in Naperville, IL. Unlike last year, we opted for the bi-weekly share, so we were a little less overwhelmed by the amazing abundance of produce and could keep up with it a little more.
Every-other-week, we picked up a share of the produce at a pick-up site in Lombard. There were also a few opportunities to go to the farm to participate in some U-pick events, so 2 weeks ago we packed a picnic dinner and headed over. It was so fun!
We had a chance to gather cherry tomatoes, green beans, and basil. It was great! Here are some photos of the fun.
