A Late Update

So things have been busy and we haven't taken many pictures lately, so you'll have to deal with a "wordful" post! Joe and I headed to Ohio for Thanksgiving and had a nice time visiting with his family. We were especially happy to see Brian and Rebecca's (Joe's cousin and cousin-in-law) new house and to see their newest family member. Such a cutie :) We also got to help Ashley move into her new apartment before we left. It'll be great for her to have her own place again!

In other news, I celebrated the big 2-8 last week. It was a nice birthday and I appreciated all of the cards and well wishes. We went to Second City (a comedy club in the city) with some friends and ate dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant. Seeing as comedy and Mexican food, are two of my favorite things, it was a great time! Being old isn't too bad when you get these two things, along with time with lots of great people (so there, Adam =P)

Other than birthday fun, we're starting to gear up for Christmas and actually spent some time over the weekend decorating our apartment. Even our Captain Potomac (our fishie) is starting to look a little festive ;) I'll share pictures soon!

On a less exciting note, my Grandma Supler still isn't all that wll. She's currently in the hospital again, but this time a bit closer to where we live (Naperville, IL). We're hoping she'll be out sometime soon, but we're not sure how love her stay will be. Please keep her and my family in your thoughts.
