What a time it has been. Things have been so hectic since Christmas, I haven't focused on updating our blog at all. January flew by without more than a blink or two and we practically dove into mid-February. Here's the shortened version of what's been happening:
1) at the end of January, we started hunting for houses
2) after one visit, we realized that single family homes are only for the wealthy and people who don't work in education ;) we shifted to town homes.
3) as we moved into February, we found a few places we liked
4) ?
Other than the house hunting, some more recent things have happened that aren't so fun. My great aunt, Sis (dad's aunt), passed away about 3 weeks ago. Last week, my step grandma, Helen (step mom's mom), passed away after a long fight with cancer. Yesterday, my Grandma Supler (mom's mom) passed away after a short go around with Alzheimer's. As you can imagine, it has been a rough few weeks. We're doing okay and trying to balance time with family and becoming buried at work. Thankfully, both of our jobs have been understanding.
Once things settle down, I'll try to update a little more frequently. Until then, feel free to email or call and say hello. It is good to catch up with people we miss.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Laura. Just keep the good memories in mind as comfort; that's always made it easier for me.
