We spent Christmas Eve with my mom and family, where we ate, opened gifts, and had a fun time together. On Christmas day we headed over to be with my dad and family, where we ate again, opened some fun gifts, and ate some more! It was a great celebration! Joe got his much-wanted verma compost bin (i.e., worms) and I got an iPod Nano and a new suitcase. We also got a GPS to use for all of our travels! All-in-all, it was a really great Christmas and everyone was so generous with us. Here are some photos of our celebration: (moving down: Andy and mom, Jen and Cade, DeAnna and MaKayla, Dad and Grandma, Barry and Justin, Joe and me.) Sorry I didn't get everyone!
After Christmas, we went to Wisconsin with my mom, Randy, Jen and family, and DeAnna and family. We had a full house with 11 people and 1 1/2 bathrooms. It was a fun time just the same! While we were there, we went sledding, snowmobiling and shopping, we went for walks, had a fire in the snow, played lots of Catch Phrase and Phase Ten, and ate lots of good food. Are you seeing an eating theme yet? We ate a LOT over the break! Check out these fun shots (moving down: the sledding audience, Luke and Jen sledding, a family photo.)
All-in-all, we had a great Christmas and winter break. We missed family and friends in Ohio, North Carolina, and elsewhere, but were happy to visit with many folks.
