March/ April Catch Up

WOW! Where did March go? Now we're already half-way through April and I haven't posted again for awhile. Here's a rewind of the past few weeks, which have been crazy busy!!

Easter at The Masterson's
This year we spent Easter with my mom and step-dad in Rochelle. It was of good food, and visited with everyone. We missed DeAnna, who has been on bed rest since February as she waits for the next new baby in the family!

As you can see from the pix I'm posting, everyone is gettigood to see everyone and have Easter in IL for the first time in at least 2 or 3 years. We had an easter egg hunt for the kiddies (and the adults who had to find the eggs that the kiddies couldn't find - good job "Easter bunny"), ate lots ng big these days.

Cade (6) is starting to get some front teeth again, after a long winter of none. Luke (12) is suddenly too old to hang out with all of us old people. I'm not ready for him to have this attitude yet! MaKayla (1) had a great time finding eggs. Unfortunately, she liked to pop open the plastic eggs and then got to eat lots of goldfish crackers with doggy hair on them ;)

Since Easter, there have been a lot of updates in the world of new babies. First, DeAnna made a scheduled visit to the hospital and is gearing up for the big day. We're now approaching the "safe zone" for baby Morris to be born... so we should have a new baby sometime in the next 4 or so weeks! Jennifer also got some news in the past few days - she's having a boy! I think she might have had day dreams of frilly dresses up until now, so this is probably good news to have before they do any shopping. She's looking at a September due date.

ACPA
At the end of March, I headed to Atlanta, Georgia for the American College Personnel Association National Convention. This is my yearly conference, which has taken me to places like Boston, Minneapolis, Nashville, and Orlando. Unfortunately, "Hot"lanta, was anything but! It rained and was in the 40's for most of the trip. None-the-less, it was SO good to see lots of friends from Maryland, Cleveland, and beyond!
