Birthday fun

A few weeks ago, we had a fabulous time celebrating miss Julia's 2nd birthday. It's hard to believe that our girl is already that old! I guess I'll have to stop calling her a baby at some point ;) We had a family party at my Mom and Randy's house, which made travel easier since pretty much everyone was coming from Rochelle - except for Ashley, who took a red-eye bus from Cleveland to be with us! Did I mention that my sister-in-law is hard core? :)

We enjoyed yummy food and lots of good company, including everyone who was healthy enough to be there and doesn't live far away. We missed you Great Grandpa Supler, Papa Seahorse, Nagymama, Gram, Opa, Aunt DeAnna and family, and Uncle Justin. Hope all of you who were sick are feeling better! Despite missing some folks, Julia had a great time. She LOVED the balloons and clearly didn't know what to do with so many fun people in the same house. She'd run from one loved-one to another yelling their name!

Here are some fun pictures from the day:

Another in the long line of Julia and Grandma pictures in which Jules looks crazy!

Opening presents with Mommy

Playing with the heart pillow from Great Grandma Wilmarth

Modeling a headband and book from Nana and Papa

With Daddy, reading the new book from him and Mommy

Dylan, showing off his blue frosting face. It was stained that way for a few hours after he finished the cupcake and got wiped up!

Mini-Mike - my new nickname for Julia when she makes a face that looks EXACTLY like my Dad!

Playing in the (empty) bathtub with Dyl. They love playing together! After we went home that day, he asked Jen if Joo-uh could come over and play blocks :)

Needless to say, it was a fun birthday celebration of our little smoochy head!
