Christmas 2012

We had another great Christmas this year. Julia really "gets" the holiday a lot more now, making it so fun to watch her excitement. Her enthusiasm is best demonstrated through a funny moment on Christmas morning when she opened her stocking. She had received some Disney Princess lip balms and - not realizing what they were - gasped "new batteries!" Hysterical. Owen was a joy to have with us - everyone wanted to get in some snuggle time with him. He was a good boy and let us enjoy the celebration, too.

On Christmas Eve, we had breakfast with my brother, Justin, and his girlfriend, Stacey. Justin recently joined the Air Force and he has been living in Texas for the past few months. It was really nice to see him and introduce him to his new nephew for the first time!

Later that day, we celebrated at my mom's house with dinner and gifts. It was a fun time - especially watching the kids playing together and opening gifts. I really got a kick out of Jules and Dylan, who both got dolls to play with. Here they are posing with Captain America and Rosetta (one of Tinkerbell's friends). Note the giant piece of candy that Dylan has in his cheek ;) They were too funny together and kept all of us pretty entertained.


On Christmas morning, we had breakfast at Jen and Ben's house. Later, we hung out at Dad and Betty's, enjoying dinner and more gifts. (Have I mentioned yet that we were all completely spoiled?!) We also had a chance to see my Grandma Wilmarth. It was a fun day with everyone.
