To end 2012 and begin the new year, we enjoyed some time in the North Woods of Wisconsin with family. We had a great time, despite the cold weather.
While we were there, we enjoyed playing in the snow, ice skating on a rink that Joe make on the lake, ice skating at the indoor rink, and lots of fun - especially for Julia with all of her cousins.
Owen had fun - as much as he could anyway - with his Nana, Papa, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was pretty well behaved and, with so many people around, he even let Mom and Dad get some extra rest. Thank goodness for family!
Jules SO loved all of the play time. I don't think she has slept that well for so many days straight EVER. She played so hard each day that she just crashed at bedtime. We're used to her laying awake for at least an hour in bed every night, so this was a wonderful change of pace!
What a great way to start the new year!
