A week or two ago, Julia had her very first ballet class... and she was so VERY excited! In preparation for the class, which is an early Christmas gift from Grandma Betty and Grandpa Mike, we went leotard and ballet shoe shopping.
After what Julia felt was an eternity, she had her first chance to try out her new gear on September 12th! During that first class, they did some moves across the floor and played a fun game. She was very excited about class and a new friend that she made, Azalea. They were hugging and clearly new best friends after just 30-minutes together. Of course, they couldn't remember each others name... but that's what it's like to be 4 years old. You make new friends easily and you don't worry about any of that silly stuff we adults worry about!
This class will continue until December, so we're in for lots of fun ballet class adventures. Thanks for the awesome gift, Grandma and Grandpa!
