Owen's One Year Stats

Our boy went for his one check-up last week and he's doing really well! I thought I'd share some updates on him these days.

Weight - 24.7 lbs, 89th percentile
Height - 2.7 ft, 88th percentile

And, in case you were curious, he apparently has a big head - in the 86th percentile!

Some other fun notes about Owey Joey:

• He can walk about 4 or 5 steps before he starts to get wobbly.
• He loves music and likes to do a little bounce-like dance every time music comes on... even if he woke up exactly 5.2 seconds before said music started to play ;)
• Everywhere he goes, he seems to yell "hey da!" as if he's looking for Joe.
• He's a carnivore. Unlike his sister, he can't get enough of meat. In fact, some nights at the dinner table, he'll start "yelling" at us if he doesn't get all that he wants.
• In addition to liking meat, the kid also eats like a horse pretty much all the time. 
• He still has about 6 teeth.
• He is fighting sleeping all night like a champ. Unfortunately, the doctor said that he is totally capable of sleeping through the night and is simply being difficult... which wasn't surprising to hear since he USED to sleep all night!
