Row, Row, Row Your Boat

If you haven't spent too much time with her, you might not know that Julia LOVES music. In fact, she started loving it right from the start. When I was pregnant, she did lots of dancing when music was playing and we even had Aunt Sue perform a live piano concert at Thanksgiving 2008, just before she was born.

Since birth, Julia's love of music has continued to grow. She likes to bop around whenever music comes on - including commercials on TV. A few of her musical toys are big favorites, including her glowing seahorse, which plays bedtime songs (thanks Nagymama and Papa Seahorse!). A more recent gift from her Nana and Papa has been especially entertaining. It is a book that signs nursery rhymes and Julia can play with it for like 15 minutes without distraction. If you have ever spent time with a little person her age, you know how significant having her occupied for 15 minutes is!

Well, all of this is to say that Julia showed us today that she knows how to sing her very first song! Here's a little video clip of Julia singing "Row, row, row your boat" today for the first time. She hasn't really made it past the "row, row, row" part... but it was darn cute!
